Need Some Advice..

We are in need of a new computer. Dont want a desk top, as we live in an apartment. No room for a desk and my table and chairs in my kitchen. So we would like something not real cheap and not very expensive. I use it for our small bus. Mainly excel. I also need to download microsoft office. So what does everyone recommend? I was thinking Toshiba. But any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

I bought DD17 a 17" Dell laptop last Christmas and she loves it. I customized it on their website and it was only about $600.

I replaced my desktop with an HP Pavillion dv6 and have had no problems. I don't move it around a lot but have taken it on a couple trips. We've had Sony, Toshiba and HP desktops and they all perform well. DH has had a variety of laptops for work and some have had issues. I think it is really hard to guess if you will have problems or not.
