Need Some Advice, Please.

I won an auction with SkyAuction, but I am getting a little nervouse becuase they don't show properties for Feb/March yet, and I am wondering if I should book something with a cancellable reservation, in case rates go up when it gets closer to the prime season. I am hoping to be able to book a 2 bedroom at CPGV or CP Resort, and Hotelkingdom has very good rates for my dates at both. I think you just pay 10% of your total booking when you book with HK, and that they will cancel or alter your reservation at no charge, but I've never booked with them so I'm not sure. What would you guys do?

I`m in the same boat as you. I won my auction and am looking for Feb29-March7 and haven`t had anything come up!

But, i emailed skyauction support to see what they have to say,hopefully i will here back from them soon.

Those are exactly my dates! I think I will book Homewood Suites LBV just in case. The rate is only $65., and includes a full, hot breakfast, and a manager's reception with snacks/drinks most nights. This way it is still within the budget if nothing comes up for Skyauction. Because the auction was so cheap, it won't be the end of my world if I have to save it for another time. I think it is good for 18 months.

If you bid on a Ready Set Go Auction like i did then it has to be used by 5/31/2004 ! I was checking out availibility last night and they now have condos through to the last week of January,when i checked a few weeks ago they had nothing in Jan. So i am hoping in the next few weeks they will start adding February dates.

They still haven`t answered my email though
