Need some advice from the experts...

DH and I had this nice little getaway planned. Called and made the ressies-2/24--3/1 for a prefered studio at BWV. DH's Sis decided to go and how about add an extra day? No problem, she is like the sister I have never had. We 3 have been in a studio before. But BWV has no studios for the 23rd. So we switch (rather then waitlist) to SSR for 2/23--3/1. NOW adult DS wants to come too. Still no problem, the 4 of us go every Sept but in a 2 bedroom.

So herein lies the problem. Will be be able to switch to a 2 bedroom so close to arrivial without a points loss? Forgive me if this is a dumb question. But I have never made any major changes before especially so close to arrival. Also what do you think my chances are of getting either another studio or a 2 bedroom this late in the game? We really don't care where we stay. We love all of the DVC properties for one reason or another. Plus this is the end of Presidents week and I am sure that, at least on the 23rd (Thursday) most everything is booked.

Just as a side note. DS and DSisIL have their own points. So the points are not an issue.

So what do all of you experts think? Will we be able to get a 2 bedroom at this late date? Or maybe another studio. Will we loose points if we cancel the studio to book a d bedroom. Forgive me if I am rambling. I have had a long week at work with inventory. I NEED A VACATION!

I don't know if you will find availability or not - you won't know until you call.

FWIW, you will not lose any points if you are able to swiitch to a 2 bedroom. The 2 bedroom will cost more points, so all of the points you used to make the studio reservation will be used up for the 2 bedroom reservation.
