Need sling/wrap recs

There are some good ring slings and you can get them in solarveil which is light weight and breaths. It can get too be painful though because it puts the weight just on one shoulder.

I found that wrapping my Solarveil Taylor Made tight and getting it up under my armpit was the key to getting the weight off my shoulder, but it's also good to roll up the tail and put it under the rings.

Here is DD in it at 6 mos on the Teacups; I had loosened it to nurse, so she's riding a bit low in the photo.

Unfortunately, the company that made Solarveil fabric went under last year, so no stores are going to be getting any new ones beyond what they already have in stock.

Our (mom, dad, sister and babe) all time favourite sling is the stretchy wrap made by mamankangourou:

Stretchy Wrap

We Bought many when our youngest was wee, but this was by far the best one. So many different ways to carry, never hurt her little legs as she grew and she was as snug or as free as she wanted to be.

It was the most comfortable and was sooooo convenient for long days at the park and used it up until about 18 mos.

We even forgot it once during a WDW trip, so we hopped in a cab to Walmart ($15) and bought stretchy fabric with enough length to allow me to wrap in the exact same way and it cost me $4!!

Hope this helps.
