Need simple directions (Facebook related)

I would like to put pictures and or posts on Facebook from my cell phone. What are the steps to do this (a free way)?

iPhone and Blackberry have apps.

If you just have a standard phone there is a mobile tab under settings where you'd have to register your phone.

I think I saw that. My kids do it all the time, but I am trying to figure this out and impress them

I have an iPhone so I just use the app but if you register your number under that mobile tab it should give you directions. I'm not sure what kind of phone plan you'll need to avoid charges on your end. I'd guess texting but I don't know about data.

If you don't have an iPhone or BlackBerry you can still do it. Well I don't know how to do pictures but I can tell you how to do updates.

Click on "My Account", then "Mobile". From here you will click on the selection to add a phone number. It will tell you to send a text to a certain number, then text you back a confirmation number. You have to enter that confirmation number on the Mobile screen. After that you make your selections for the settings. You can set it to notify you of comments on your page from 8 am - 9 pm if you want or any other time that works for you.
