Need Simple Chicken Receipes

Does anyone have simple chicken receipes to share. I am looking something that only takes less than 5 ingrainets.
 
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 C sherry cooking wine (or whatever wine you may have open)
Parmesan Cheese
Rice

Mix soups and sherry wine in bowl. Whisk together until well blended. Place thawed chicken breasts in a crockpot. Cover with soup mix. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top. Cook 6-8 hours on low heat in crockpot.

Serve over rice.

It's from my crockpot cookbook and is called Chicken Delicious and IT IS!
 
This is easy and tasty. NO exact measurements though it is all to taste

Cream of Chicken soup( I Usually use 2 cans)
Parsely flake
pepper
Garlic powder
minced onion (optional)

MIx together Undiluted chicken soup with rest of ingredients. Pour over chicken and bake until chicken is cooked. . Makes a great gravy for biscuits or rice.

I just checked through my recipes, but that only one I can find that take 5 or fewer ingredients is this:

Melt some butter in a pan. Add boneless chicken & some Lea & Perrins White Wine Worcestershire. You don't cover the chicken - you just need enough so that it doesn't cook out before the chicken is done....like maybe 1/2 cup? Cook until it's done, turning once. Serve with rice or noodles. This is really, really good!

We used to make this with all butter in the pan, but have cut way back on "bad fats". Now I just use olive oil & maybe a tablespoon of butter - just enough to add the taste.
 
These both sound a little weird but I swear they are good!

1. Brown boneless chicken breasts in a frying pan and pour in 1 cup ketchup and 1 can of Coke. Let it simmer for 20 minutes until sauce is thick. Quite yummy!

2. Dredge pcs of chicken in mayonnaise and then roll in a mixture of crushed potato chips and grated cheese. Different flavours go well together. Try plain or bbq chips with cheddar cheese. Use sour cream and onion chips with Monteray Jack cheese. Back them on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Boneless pieces need only about 20 minutes.

one chicken breast with bone or a small chicken
one package of dry good season salad dressing

rinse and pat dry chicken
put in crock pot
sprinkle with good season

cook all day on low

if you want it a little crisper pull it out of the pot about 30 minutes before dinner pop in oven. Makes a done of juices, great stock for soup!
 
Orange glazed Chicken Breasts

1 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted and thawed
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
6 skinless chicken breast
1/4 water
2 Tablespoons corn starch
Combine juice and marjoram in dish
Dip each breast in sauce. Place in crockpot. Pour sauce over. Cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or high for 4 to 5.
Before serving remove chicken from pot. With pot on high, mix water and cornstarch. stir into liquid in pot. cook until thick and bubbly (15 to 30 minutes) with lid ajar. serve over chicken :sunny:
 
OutBack Chicken (At least I think I saw it at OutBack)

Take boneless chicken breasts, slather on some BBQ sauce and bake in oven at 350 for 20 min, or until slightly underdone. Sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese on top and put back in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and the juices run clear. Remove from oven.
Top with crumbled cooked bacon, diced tomatoes and chopped scalions (green onions) and serve

OK, so it's 6 ingredients, but it's great! I've served it at a recent dinner party and all my guest raved. Why pay OutBack $9 when you can make it yourself. :)
 
I forgot this one earlier since it wasn't actually in my recipe box. I usually serve this with a bag of Lipton Rice & Sauce - Spanish flavor & a tossed salad. Steam builds up under the plastic wrap & you end up with a soft coating on the chicken. Mmmm!

Cheez-Its Chicken

2 - 3 c Cheez-Its, finely crushed
1 pkg taco seasoning
4 chicken breasts, boneless

Put Cheez-Its in a gallon-sized bag & seal removing as much air as possible. Using a rolling pin or the side of a meat mallet, crush the crackers. Pour crushed crackers into a bowl & add the dry taco seasoning. Mix until seasoning is evenly distributed. Dredge chicken in cracker mixture & place in a microwave safe dish. If there is any cracker mix left, pour it evenly over the chicken in the dish. Cover with plastic wrap & microwave until done.
 
Cube chicken breasts and brown in a large skillet (or a pot). Once browned, add frozen veggies to taste. Season to taste (I use rosemary, garlic powder and poultry seasoning). Once the veggies are warm, mix 1 package Pioneer cream gravy mix (I use the low fat) with 1 can of chicken broth and pour over the meat and veggies. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Voila! Crustless chicken pot pie!

Think I'll do that in my iron skillet, then top with some of those pillsbury frozen bisquits and bake. lol Gotta have something for soppin' that great gravy.::yes::
 
This is the easiest recipe to make and my kids love it.

Creamy Baked Chicken and Rice

1 lb. boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks or left as whole pieces
1 to 2 cups instant rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
season with salt, pepper, garlic,
I use minced onions sometimes

Combine all ingredients into a 9x13 greased glass pan, pop into the oven at 350 and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes. If you use the larger pieces, baking time may be longer, depending.

Also, I usually don't use exact measurements when I make this so if the mixture looks a little dry then add water or milk or more soup.

It is very easy and tasty.

1 - 8oz can crushed pineapple
1 - 16oz bottle barbecue sauce
4 to 6 cups cooked rice

Place meat in a greased crock pot. Combine pineapple and barbecue sauce and pour over meat. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low heat 6-8 hours. Serve over rice.

Makes 4-6 servings.

1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 cup water
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese
1 - 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup (condensed)
1 - 4oz can mushroom stems and pieces (drained)

Place meat in a greased crock pot. Combine salad dressing mix and water, pour over meat. Cover and cook on high heat for 3 hrs. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cook 2 hrs longer on hig heat or until chicken juices run clear.

Serve over cooked egg noodles.

Makes 4 servings.
 
Place chicken in a slow cooker and pour a jar of salsa (your favorite brand) over it and cook till it falls apart. Serve over rice or noodles. :teeth:
 
This one takes a few more ingredients than five, but is very tasty. I serve it over rice or noodles.

Five Flavors Chicken - Crock Pot
3 - 4 lb chicken, boneless
2 cloves garlic
½ c honey
1½ tsp ginger, ground
½ c soy sauce
3 Tbl sherry*
½ c crushed pineapple with juice (opt)
2 Tbl cornstarch
Mix garlic, honey, ginger, soy & sherry*. Dip chicken into mixture. Place chicken in crock. Mix pineapple with sauce & pour over chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours. Remove chicken. Blend cornstarch into juice; cook to thicken.

*(Can substitute orange or cranberry juice.)

The person who gave me this recipe said it was for chicken with the bone it. However, I hate it that way. The bones tend to disintegrate almost. They're difficult to pull out & you end up with all this "grit" in your mouth. Yuck!
 
Chicken Pasta Toss

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips or cubes
3 Tbs. olive oil
2 cloves garlic
salt to taste
1/2 can black olives (pitted)
handful green olives
1 large tomato, diced
4 fresh basil leaves, snipped
parmesan cheese
12 oz. box pasta. cooked

In a large skillet, heat oil and infuse garlic. Add chicken and cook about 5 min. or till no longer pink. Add remaining ingredients, toss and serve!

I made this up a few years ago and make it every few weeks! My family DH, DD8,DS6 and DD5 LOVE it!!!
 
Two easy, tasty and 5 ingredients:

Chicken with Cheese

Ingredients:
6 chicken breasts
1 jar of pearl onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/8 cup sherry
1/4 pound (or more) grated cheddar cheese

Instructions:
Place chicken in baking dish
add onions
mix soup and sherry and pour over chicken
Place in 350 degree oven, covered for 45 minuntes
uncover and bake for 35-40 minutes more.



I love this one:

Cheese and Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:
4 to 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
1-pound Swiss cheese (slices, not shredded)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
croutons (large garlic type best)
1/2 cup butter

Spray a shallow glass baking dish with cooking spray
place breasts in bottom
place cheese slices on top
cover with soup
melt butter and pour on top
Bake 350 degrees 1 1/2 hours uncovered
 
My family likes this very simple recipe
a whole chicken cleaned and the skin removed. then generously sprinkle with seasoning salt. Like Lawrys and put into a baking dish, cover and bake. Not fancy but good.
