So what did you think? I have a 6 yr. old and a one year old who will love it I'm sure, but is it worth the hype? I think it would be cool to travel through Circus McGirkus!

I loved it!!! :teeth: My DH & DS(14) are a bit jaded & weren't as thrilled with it. The scenery is really cute. I liked the right side better, but both are great. The train that loads on the left goes through Circus McGurkus & the smell reminded me of a school cafeteria. :o That kind of detracted from the scenery, but not much. IMHO, it is a must for younger kids.

Tip: My DS & I were seated in the front seat of the train on the right. I loved the ride. Upon entering the unload area, I told the ride attendant how much I enjoyed it. I also commented that we would definitely have to ride again, because I wanted to see the scenery from the other track too. She told all 3 of us to follow her. To our surprise, she took us to a gate & told the loading attendants to put us in the train on the left. When the next train on the left arrived, we were seated in the front of that one also. :woohoo: In all our visits to WDW & UO that was the 1st time an employee has done anything special for us. Noone will ever convince me that the CMs @ WDW are better than the TMs @ UO. :)

This reminds me. I really need to finish my trip report.

we loaded on the right side...not sure if it was because of the express pass line or it was just where we ended up. The views were amazing...but the train kept stopping for like a minute or two each time. The last time, almost at the end, we stopped for like 5 minutes. We were supposed to ride it again, but never made it back. Hopefully it was just a glitch that time and doesnt happen often.

This reminds me. I really need to finish my trip report.

ahem...... :rolleyes1

anyway, we rode both tracks numerous times.....didn't have any problems with "stopping". can't remember which was which (teal track went thru CMcG and seemed longer), but I liked the story and scenery better on the purple track. You should definately ride both tracks.....

it's fun, but do it early. it's been 35-45 minute standby's.

i agree....we had FOTL from RPR, I wouldn't wait 1/2 hour to do it....go early.

purple is left
teal is right.........

or is it the other way around?

ahem: according to my notes: teal track seems shorter, but goes thru CMcG. and I believe it was a "Sneetch" story. Purple track seems longer, better "Suess" scenes, but story is more like a "A" is for....., "B" is for..... etc....thru the whole ABC's...but, IF I remember correctly, I preferred the purple track to the teal one...but, matter of personal preference.....

Unfortunately, our laidback vacation style doesn't include taking notes. I really should do better. Anyway, I don't remember which color track it is, but I thought the train that loads on the right had the best scenery. (Just to clarify, it would be on your left, when you are still in line. The ride queue & train face opposite directions. Does that even make sense? :p ) You should really try to ride both tracks though. It did appear that the Express line was loaded into the train on the right. If you want to ride the other one, you may need to ask to do so.

yep....we asked for the other train, as we mentioned we just rode (literally) the one they were going to put us on. The train that loads to the right (left train if you're still in line) is the purple track (see my above description)...i liked that ride/scenery better, but not the story.

Great! This sounds like lots of fun! Can't wait to try both lanes!
