Need reviews on Comfort Inn & Suites

Saw an internet special for 49.00 for this hotel. We just need it for one night. Any experiences. TIA

We stayed at the Comfort Suites Universal last year for 50.00 a night with a coupon. We could walk to Universal from the hotel, which was convenient. I am pretty sure it was a fairly new building last summer. They had a small pool with a hot tub outside, and plenty of parking, even on the weekend. They had a continental breakfast each day, which helped save a little $. They had a small fitness room on the first floor. They were supposed to have a shuttle to the parks, but it had been cancelled the week before we got there. They were supposed to charge us $20 more on the weekends, but charged us the 50.00 rate. The staff was very helpful and polite with any/all questions we had. Housekeeping service was good, and each day our room was quite clean. We were located on the first floor. As you walk in the room, the bathroom was on the right, they had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron,etc. on the left. They had a small sitting area with a sleeper sofa and coffe table and then an area with two queen beds, and a table and chairs by the window. It was much larger than a regular hotel room for only $50 a night, it was perfect for our last minute, unplanned trip. No complaints whatsoever.

It was on Apoka-Vineland it is less than 1/2 mile from WDW.

The Comfort Suites Maingate is a very nice hotel. We stayed there during the Christmas/New Year rush. The place was very clean (especially the bathroom), and the free continental breakfast was very good. They offer free shuttle service to the parks, but it is a very short drive to WDW if you want to take your own vehicle.

We just stayed at the Comfort Suites on Turkey Lake Rd. and decided to not stay there again. It was nowhere....on the west side of I-4--no closeby restaurants....things to do. Our housekeeper was terrible...sheets didn't stay on bed, garbage bags set on edge of can, and the little bugs in our room....I don't know if it was a Fl. thing, although, we go there yearly, and never saw them before. We didn't chose the hotel, DHs company did because of a convention he was at, and they said it was the closest to the convention center they could get.
Anyway, that is my opinion. Staff was nice, and the pool was nice.
