Need review on Cookes of Dublin

My daughter and I went there in August. I had the chicken and field mushroom pie which I liked very much. DD had the original 1 + 1 fish & chips. She did not like it. We both had soft serve ice cream for dessert. They don't automatically bring out your ice cream after you finish your meal and DD waited in line for quite awhile to get our ice cream. I will be posting pictures on my dining review.

We were there recently. We had the burger which was a burger, but definitely get the vintage cheese sauce to dunk fries in! And the strawberry shortcake is wonderful. I don't even like strawberry shortcake

The chicken and field mushroom pie is the best! It's sooo good! The fish and chips are really good too. It's nice sitting outside there.

Excellent fried shrimp, scallops and fries. Nasty cole slaw and doh bar (fried snickers)

I had the fried fish. I didn't like it. There is pictures in my review from 2011. My boyfriend got the fried chicken and loved it. The fish was too greasy.

We only went once. By far it was the worst counter service meal we ever had. 2 of the 3 meals we got were so overcooked they were inedible, and we threw them away. Never again.
