Need restaurante advice and have questions on gift cards.....

Hello! We are so excited as our Disney Dream cruise is coming up in 3 weeks!!!!! We just decided to stay one night at the All star Movies resort before we drive up to Port Canaveral. Here is my question: We are not going to have admission for the parks, but can anyone recommend a great sitdown restaurant that would be good for myself, DW and the kids? Maybe one of the hotels?????

Also, if we went to Downtown Disney, would T-REX or Rainforest accept Disney gift cards?

I have two boys 5 and 10, and it's DW and myself.

You could call TRex or Rainforest directly to see if they accept Disney gift cards, and if they do, make a reservation while you're at it. I'd go with TRex between the two. If not, head over towards the Boardwalk as there will be things to do after dining at one of the restaurants there - ESPN, Kouzzina, Cape May Cafe, Yachtsman, Captain's Grill, Big River Grille. Lots of choices there that will all take Disney gift cards.

Like the PP said, I would call and check. If they do, T-Rex is a lot of fun!

If you want a Disney type experience, I would maybe go with a character meal like Chef Mickeys. If you want fancier our favorite is Yachtsman. Mmmm...I drool just thinking about it!
