On my travels, I will be driving past WDW, would like stop at a WDW restaurant for appetizers or inexpensive meal. Will be in the area for the night so the next morn will stop at Disney Spring prior to beginning our travels again. So I'm thinking of not doing any place at Disney Springs for the dinner.

What do you suggest?

While I love the Boardwalk area, we have done it b4 and will be returning to it shortly. Do love the food, walk and fireworks. Guess I'm looking for something similar.

What other resort areas do you suggest? And what to do there after eating?

Thanks.

Animal Kingdom Lodge: dinner at Sanaa and animal watching around the resort afterwards.

Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness: several dining options then do the Chip N Dale campfire or take a horseback ride.

We stop at BoatWrights every time we pass through at night. It's our main resort so we get to be happy for a few hours. Plus they have prime rib and shrimp grits.

You could eat at one of the restaurants on the monorail loop (GF, Poly or CR) and then go for a monorail ride! Or, as others have suggested, watch the fireworks from one of the resorts. The restaurants at WL are good as well.

So now I'm thinking of one of the Monorail Resorts...
so either The Wave @ CR, Kona Cafe @ Poly or GF Cafe @ GF.

The appetizer at The Wave looks the best. But it looks so dark. Is there any windows. Want a Disney Feel
Also, what's to do at the CR after we eat?

The other two menu had less apps choice but the atmosphere seem nicer.

Which would you choose?

We loved The Wave! No windows, though. You could go out and watch the water parade or go up to the 4th floor observation area to watch the fireworks after dinner.

Bread service at Sanaa. its a meal in itself and the setting is beautiful. Many other good options on the menu as well.
If you want something on the monorail, another vote for the Wave.
Could do Kona cafe and then Trader Sams later in the evening. You can still watch fireworks from the beach and see the water pageant.
