I need some suggestions because we're unsure what to decide. So any suggestions that we can take into consideration for our decision would be great! We're suppose to go to POR in December for a nice trip for 7 nights. We didn't plan on my daughter doing a pagaent and going to National finals in Orlando at Thanksgiving. We're thinking we might just use that time as our Disney trip by going a little early. We'll check in Friday night and stay until Monday when we'll check into the DTD Hilton. Friday through Monday will be park days. Monday through Sunday we will be staying at the DTD Hilton but will be using free time to go to parks. All day Saturday and Sunday at the end of our week will also be park days. We need a resort to stay at Friday through Monday. At first I thought maybe just doing POR. I'm wondering if we should stay at a deluxe (mostly monorail resorts) for transportation reasons since we're there a short time. Plus, it'd be a short stint and kind of nice to take that opportunity to stay deluxe. So my questions are:
1) Would deluxe be the best way to go, especially a monorail resort, due to our time limitations?
2) WHICH deluxe?!!! Grand Floridian is out, but Polynesian looks great. Contemporary sounds good but... not sure I'd be impressed with it? It looks strange to me. Any suggestions?
