Need replacement windows, who to call in NE Ohio?

We need to replace a few windows in our living room that are broken, not cracked just won't go up and down right anymore. We would need them installed. For anyone who lives in the NE Ohio area who did you call to do your windows? Would like to start getting an idea what it would cost.

Larmco replaced our cracked & old bay window. Very reasonably priced. Sales guy was not at all pushy or sleezy. He was very, very nice and answered all of our questions. Install guys were quick, clean, and professional. I'd highly recommend them. We plan on using them again as soon as we have enough money saved up to replace the rest of the windows in our house.

My suggestion on who not to call is Pella. We replaced a big picture window that leaked like it was raining in the house when it rained. Their most experienced guys could not fix it and they wouldn't replace it. Not to mention they are expensive especially when you have to replace a new window because the company can't get it right.

I would try a private handyman. We have had just about all (soon to be all) the windows in our house replaced by a handyman. He charges us the exact price of the window plus $50 to install plus extras such a caulk, insulation (our windows had NO insulation around them), and new trim pieces. We priced with several window companies. The price we are paying is 1/4 the cost. Make sure whomever you hire is bonded. I would ask around to see who other people in your area have used. Ask at work, church, etc. to find someone reputable. We feel like our guy did a better job because he mostly relies on word of mouth for his work. We are extremely happy!
