Need replacement for Beaches & Cream

I would stay at the Beach/ Yacht Club/ Boardwalk area. I'm with you- after a day of travel, the last thing I want to deal with is getting on a bus to go somewhere for dinner and then doing it all in reverse to get to bed. There are so many options over there, no need to leave.

I'll second some other suggestions- Ale & Compass is great, Big River is casual, and the Boardwalk Bakery has sandwiches, pizza, and treats. Even the lounges offer a good meal.

Sorry but B&C is so over hyped in my opinion. I'd also go to Fountain at the Dolphin.

It's table service (they also have a counter where you can sit, and a to-go option). They do not take reservations (you won't need them).

We went to the Fountain once a couple years back. Wasn't crazy about the ice cream, service or atmosphere.

We were going to have lunch at Beaches & Cream for lunch one of our first days this August but ended up changing over to Ale & Compass. Hopefully the lobster roll is still being served. I miss the one they used to have at Boardwalk Bakery.
