I would like some ideas on finding comfortable and durable sport type sandals for our upcoming 10 day trip in May. :yay: I used to love Tevas but the last few years, I have not found them that comfortable. I do prefer open toe. Any recommendations?

I can't find anything as comfortable as crocs flip-flops. They may not be the prettiest but they are SO comfortable!

I have a pair of Ugg flip flops. They are sooo comfortable. They're expensive regular price, but I got them on sale.

I agree with a previous poster...Merrells or Taos.

I bought some Taos that were soooooo comfy and they were so feminine looking. I wore them for our entire 10 day trip in Florida. We spent a week at the World and my legs, back and feet never ached a bit. I got mine in the mall at the Walking Company. And I've washed them twice and they are still my favs!

Good luck!

Another vote for Merrell! I walked all over WDW, Universal & Galapagos with mine and my feet never hurt!

I love my Keens. This year will be my 3rd year wearing them & they still look great. I go for walks in them too & my feet never hurt (maybe that is me). Plus they go thru the wash every few days, unlike my kids Keens go thru the wash after each day.

I haven't tried Merrells other then winter shoes but I am sure they are comfy & my sister has a pair or Taos that she loves.

FYI, I just bought Merrells on Shoebuy when all shoes were 20% off. I signed up as a member & got another $8 ish off. So retail & on Shoebuy they were $90 & I paid $65. I am so glad I sprained my ankle & had a swollen foot for a month otherwise I would of ended up paying full price for them.

Eccos! I wear them to work everyday and love them! Plus you can dress them up or wear jeans or shorts w them. See what's on clearace at the Walking Company - I've gotten several great pairs for under $40, though the usually run $80 and arre worth every penny.

Still another vote for Merrells! I suffered for nearly 16 months from severe plantar fasciitis in both feet - Merrells (and Dansko) are the only brands I can wear and my feet won't hurt. Even my Keens will hurt after awhile. While Merrells are expensive at $90+, they last much longer than any other shoes I've worn.

Make sure to check the 6pm.com website for Merrells. I just purchased the Merrell "Heather" slide in Citrus for $45 plus shipping. Earlier in the year I purchased Merrells for about $30...different style but still sandals.

My fit flops are all I wear in the parks. I used to wear the crocs flip flops and loved them too. I just like the fit flops better. But I can go all day every day in either of them and not have any problems.
