Hi there,

I know these are not really "budget" given the price tag of over $300 for one of these. But since they are so expensive, I want to make sure we are getting the right one.

Right now we are looking at the Bob Revolution SE and the Bob Sports Utility strollers. If you have experience with either or both, please let me know what you found to be the pro's and con's of each. We're leaning towards the Sport Utility version as it is currently on sale at Diapers.com for a great price (:rotfl2: still close to $300)

Specifically we're looking to find out how bulky the strollers are when folded up. Did you find the locked in wheel or the locking/swivel wheel to be a better ride?

thanks!

We had both versions of the revolution bob before 2010 and after 2010 models. They fold up nicely and I always used the swivel wheel much easier with turning. I don't know much about the utility model but I think the wheels are bigger? Have you compared the 2 on the bob website? I recently sold our new bob revolution and got the new motion model its much smaller but its not a jogging stroller.

We have the SE version of the BOB (had some gift cards to babies r us and got them to price match amazon) and LOVE it! It is larger when folded, but the wheels pop off easily and I have no problem fitting it in my car when traveling. That said, I prefer to use my umbrella stroller for quick trips out and the BOB is for jogging, walks around the neighborhood and whatnot. I prefer the swivel wheel most of the time, but the locked wheel is easier for jogging. Have you looked on craigslist? There are usually 1 or 2 for sale when I check since they're so popular. That's the good news.. if for whatever reason you decide you don't like it, they tend to have a good resale value.

My ONLY complaint is that the sunshade seems to sit a bit low when folded. I do have a taller baby, but he's not quite one and I feel like it's sometimes in the way when it's not extended.

Since I am an avid runner, the locked front wheel is best for running but not really useful for anything else so that is why we have a jogger and a regular double.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I have checked out craigslist and the few of them listed are actually asking for more than the price on diapers.com!! So I figure why not just buy a new one.

We currently have a Graco click-connect that we really like, it rolls really smoothly and we use it all the time. We would like to start working out again and i think having jogging stroller will greatly help in that regard. We would be using it mostly on a trail system so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too bad with the locked wheel without too many turns to make.

We went to Babies R US (didn't know they price matched) and checked out the Revolution SE. Hard to tell whether we would like it since they didn't have the tires inflated properly.

We have a Revolution. It is the only stroller we use. We use it for everything from neighborhood walks to shopping at the mall. We take it camping and use it jogging. As said before, the only complaint we have is the sunshade hanging low when folded back. We are taking it to Disney this month since it's comfortable for the mini me and he will sleep in it all day.
