We are having our Vow Renewal Ceremony at WDW in December.

Although WDW Photography is beautiful, we would like an outside photographer. We are using WDW for the Castle pictures and Honeymoon pictures, but feel they are too traditional and posed than we would like for our ceremony and reception.

We are interested in capturing the entire day in a more casual way. We have been friends for 25 years and married for 10 and we want that to show in our pictures. We would love pictures of not only the wedding, guests, etc. but the surrounding area, pictures of buildings, decorations, etc.

Any recommendations or names would be appreciated.

Thanks. Lisa

i highly recommend randy chapman. you can view some of his work on www.chapmanphotography.com he is a phenomenal photographer. i think just about everyone here that has had him before can agree as well.

We used Randy Chapman (www.chapmanphotography.com) and loved him. He got all the shots you are describing, and then some, and that was without any 'must take photo list' from me (personally, I dont believe in them). You may also want to look into Karla Fountain. She was too expensive for us, but I love her work. I believe her website is www.karlafountain.com Good luck deciding!

Hi there...

I got married March 26 (last month) ad used an outside photographer, I loved!!! Email me at Jamie0201@aol.com and I will send you the info! I am not at home right now, or else I would give it all to you here.

I took the advice of the girls on the board and called Randy Chapman. I haven't put down a deposit yet, but he and I talked for an hour and he made me extremely comfortable with the whole process. He is GREAT!

I also used Randy for my Swan wedding last year and he was great- especially with a difficult bride who hates being photographed

Well most of you know I went with Randy and of course I love him. I also like Gary Fox's work but I wasn't too enamoured with his customer service skills. I LOVE Jeff Hawkins work but that's quite pricey but actually now that I say that when I did look further into his site all the pictures I liked the most were taken by his Associate, Melissa, oh and as Helen says Karla Fountain's work is dreamy.

So those are just a few to be working with now. I know that Randy is popular but I also know that his style doesn't appeal to all so I'd check out the sites of the above and get a feel for the pictures that you like the most :)

Thanks for all of your great suggestions. I think it is between Randy Chapman and Gary Fox. I like both of their styles.

Lisa

Leigh,

I warned Randy about the same thing with me. I hate to be photographed!

We had our vow renewal on April 15. Randy did the photography. He was great! I was having a hard time with my allergies and was blinking constantly..Randy was prepared and took a ton of photos to make sure that we had enough with my eyes open!! Did not get the pics back yet but should soon. I will post them if I can figure out how

hi lisa,

we are also using randy chapman for our custom yc wedding this march. we have yet to use him but so many other dis brides & grooms have & he comes highly recommended, he's also been great with my questions via email & phone. check out his website, we feel in love with his style & the many albums we've viewed with his work.

also check out http://www.yourfairytale.com/photographers.html
which has a list of some preferred vendors by the site who are familiar with disney weddings/vow renewals too.

We used Damon Tucci for our wedding photos, he was with Disney at that time but I would hire him again in a heartbeat. His style is called "photo journalist" but what he does is captures the special moments without you ever knowing he was there. His work is very interesting to the eye, he can be very unconventional. He does have a web site with samples, I can't tell you how lucky we feel that he was there for our day.

Randy Chapman all the way..... my wedding pictures are beautiful and he is so laid backand never in your face with the camera.

We went with Damon Tucci as well and were VERY happy with our photographs,,:) We had a hard choice to make between Randy and Damon and we ended up going with Damon because his style was just a little different. I think you would be happy with either Damon or Randy,,:)

Here is a link to Damon's page :

Good luck & Congratulations,,*smiles*.

I have to agree Randy Chapman is amazing!
I saw him over this weekend shooting a wedding at the Boardwalk! It brought back great memories! :flower:

We have decided to go with Randy Chapman!!!

I've talked to him twice and I just love him. He's sent us various samples of his work and he is just the style we want. Not many formal poses, but catching the details of the entire day.

He did say he was at WDW this weekend and he took pics of Sea Breeze Point (where, after much going back and forth) we decided to hold the ceremony. He also took pictures in the Whitehall Room at the Grand Floridian this weekend where we are holding our reception.

For those brides2B, Randy is coming out with some exciting new "stuff" so check him out if you haven't.

Thanks again for all of your help. Lisa
