We are headed to disney at the end of February. We already have PS at 50's Prime time Cafe and Liberty Tree. I'm looking for a recommendation at Epcot. Something kid friendly as we have a DS3 ans DS5. Thanks. :space: :scared1:

The Garden Grill is a nice character meal at the Land that was pretty good when we went there. Not my favorite restaurant, but a decent meal. Of course all the restaurants in the World Showcase feature a children's menu which are all pretty much the same- chicken fingers, cheeseburgers, hot dog etc, with some variations within the countries. We took our kids to Le Cellier in Canada when they were younger, and there were plenty of things on the children's menu for them, as well as great things on the menu for the adults!

go to lecellier!!!
its my favorite spot to wait for a table, the beautiful garden with off kilter playing in the background
the kids will have a good entree, you will have a great one. great service. and then the kids will have a fantastic dessert (try either the smores, or the chocolate moose. and i do mean MOOSE.) while you have the best chocolate cake in all of WDW (the chocolate valhora cake at the cali grill is a VERY close second)
plus then you just stroll out the doors and watch illuminations.

Le Cellier is good for kids (my DD6 liked it when she was 4.5). DD6 also liked San Angel Inn. I'd avoid Restaurant Marrakesh. IIRC, France has a kid-friendly menu.

Another vote for LeCellier...also, I believe the Land is closed in February so that they can finish the queue for Soarin'...not positive, but I believe that's what I read.

I also love Rose and Crown, but my kids haven't been there yet so I can't vote that way.

I've heard that Marrakesh is okay for kids--I don't have any myself. (The belly dancer is good entertainment.) I know some adult picky eaters who have loved it there, and they have things like hamburgers and pasta on the kids' menu. Le Cellier is really good food, but with LTT and Prime Time ressies, I think a different type of cuisine might be nice change for the grown-ups.

The Norway and Mexico restaurants also get my vote.

WE like the Garden Grill.. My kids and I were talking today while waiting at the pediatricians office about what Resturants to PS and "the spin-ey around one with the steak" was the first one my dd4 asked for.

They have a decent meal for the price and I like the quiet walk to illuminations afterward!

They may enjoy watching the chef cook tableside at Teppanyaki, too. Biergarten in Germany is a good restaurant with entertainment, that children may enjoy!

They will bring PB&J's and grapes for the kids. The best part of this meal is the Troll cookie. It is a large sugar cookie with edible paints. The little ones paint up the cookie - which keeps them busy while you eat your dinner (delicious food here, also).

The buffet is full of cold salads (shrimp salad is yummy), cheeses, etc. Then you can order hot entrees at your table. You can order as many as you want to try (one at a time). The crispy chicken was great, as was the viking meal (meatballs, mashed rutabaga). And tasty beer, too. Ringnes, I think it's called.

And the restaurant itself is beautiful.

My kids enjoy LeCellier and Biergarten the most of the WS restaurants.

They don't have Ringnes anymore. Now they serve Carlsberg. :sad1:

I am not sure, but Garden Grill may still be closed the end of February, but here are other places my DD enjoys:

Coral Reef in the Living Seas
Le Cellier at the Canadian pavillion
San Angel Inn at the Mexican Pavillion.
Tempura Kiku at the Japanese building
Nine Dragons at the China Pavillion
and we haven't tried it, but it gets rave reviews from other families --Mitsukoshi Tempanyaki at the Japanese Pavillion!

All of the restaurants are kid friendly with the possible exception of Bistro de Paris, which is more suited for adults.

Teppenyaki in Japan! Great food and I think kids would love to see them cook the meal. They get ice cream too, w/their meal.
