My family would like to go somewhere over spring break(not Florida) and their suggestions have been St Thomas or the Bahamas. We have never been to either and would apprceiate any info. We were looking into a cruise also but are finding them to be very expensive in March.(still an option if we find a decent price) We are a family of six with 1 college, 2 teens and one elementary age child. All inclusive is OK but not necessary. Just want a nice safe place with lots to do on-site or near by and a nice beach.

I would reccommend a cruise if you can get a good price..we just went on one last year and it was my mom dad, myself (19) , my friend, my brother )17) and his friend..it was great!

I would say the Atlantis on Paradise Island, but it is rather $$$. My friend just went to the Radisson Cable Beach resort on Nassau. It is an all inclusive, and cheaper than the Atlantis. It was my friend 34, dh 43. their 2 year old and his daughter 23. They all had a really good time

in March.

I love St Thomas! Have been there on many cruise stops and there's a lot to see and do. How about a villa rental?

There are some luxury villas available through a company called McLaughlin-Anderson...they have a website.

There are some for 2 people and some for 20 and they look spectacular with private pools etc...

I love cruising...but if you want to settle in and see an island...I wouldn't seek a cruise. JMO....
