We will be doing the Candle Light Processional Package on our Dec Trip. We have never eaten at the Garden Grill and would like some opinions. We will be a group of 6 (includes dd14 and dd11). We have eaten at most of the other places that offer the package. We were looking to try something new this time that will appeal to the whole group. I thought since it is served family style that each person might find something they like. Comments please.

We just at at GG last week. We loved it. We do not eat much fish so we asked the server to leave it off. The food was terrific. We also went with a party of six. We found the table to be small. Be sure to ask for an outside table. The characters were awesome. The only complaint was that it was really hot in the restaurant My family liked GG more than ohana

Thanks so much. We love Ohanas, so hopefully we will like GG. I have found that whole pavillion to be warm on most of our trips. Were the dishes seasoned? We like Ohanas because it seasons its food (we are from south Louisiana and love spice!)

Is almost same food served family style as they have at Liberty Tree in MK dessert little different is all...both good. is fun at GG as it rotates very slowly while your eating and you can see down into Small world:cool1:

Funny the seasoning is why my family didn't like 'Ohana. GG was not seasoned in the same way The food was tasty. We found 'Ohana to be a little spicy. (I am sure you wont from Louisana) GG is kind of like Thanksgiving. The sundaes for the kids were great too.

We ate there thsi past trip and were a bit underwhelmed. For the price I was not that impressed. The side dishes were good but since they serve everything on one plate you barely got any of the veggies. We requested more which they brought out but still took a while and we foudn ourselves each taking a small spoon at a time to make sure everyone could have some. I agree with the person above that you sould request a table on the outside, we had one on the inside and it was WAY too small for us. Plus we felt like it was pretty crowded around us as well. Characters were fun, but we met all those characters in there like 3 more times during the remainder of our trip. Desert was not good at all.

Thank you for all your comments. This is a place we have never eaten but hope to one day so great to hear what everyone else thought. x

You see into Living with the Land, not Small World.
We went in May and loved it!

We were there a few weeks ago, and loved it. My kids call it Mickey's garden, and they loved Chip and Dale. We will go back for sure :). I don't think it was a good as Ohana, but I think Ohana's is hard to beat.

How much is it for dinner now??? We loved it the times we have been, but that has been almost 4 years now....

We ate at GG a week ago and it wasn't nearly as good as we remembered from our previous trip. I LOVED the catfish they had before, this trip it was a broiled fish and I didn't care for it at all (and I love fish/seafood). The first plate of stuff is really small, and as a large family we had to ask for more...but they will bring out more of whatever you want. The kids ate mac and cheese, broccoli, turkey and chicken legs. They served turkey, beef and fish for the adults. The sides were under the meat and they were mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and rice. Dessert was good, it was a berry/peach cobbler with crumble topping and vanilla bean icecream. The kids got oreo pudding with two oreo 'ears'. The sweet tea was way too sweet (and we're from the south LOL), but they do have soda's.

It was 34.99 per adult and 16.99 per child when we were there (not holiday pricing). That did not include tax or tip either :)

Our Ratings of Garden Grill: (rev 6/9/11)
. . . food price value: C
. . . food quality: C
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: C
. . . seating quantity: C
. . . seating comfort: B
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: B
. . . staff helpfulness: C
. . . character interaction: B

NOTE: The eatery revolves within The Land pavilion. Portions
of the spin include scenes from the boat ride. The food is plentiful,
with quality about average. Remember, you pay for the characters
and not the food or food quality. The characters include Mickey, Pluto
and Chip-n-Dale. To dine with the characters it will suffice, but the
Sunshine Seasons Quick Service downstairs within The Land is a good
alternative if characters are not important.
