My friend is going to WDW in mid May and is planning to propose to his girlfriend. He's then hoping that a ton of their friends and family will be joining them.

Each of these people have a different budget and none know the real reason they will be joining my friend. So he's trying to put together a spreadsheet of sorts showing the various room rates w/ APs. He's been able to roughly determine the rate for the GF, but cannot get any idea of the Poly or the CR.

Does anyone have any info on what these rates were for last year during May with APs? I know that the rates will be higher (when has a rate ever gone down from year to year) but at least he'll be able to get an approximate idea of the cost and can give people a comparison.

Any help is greatly appreciate. Either info or link to info from last year would be great.

Thanks.

I too am curious to know what some of the rates were that were offered last year at that time. Mousesavers lists what types of discounts were given and when but not what the price was with the discount.

We would like to stay at the Polynesian or Contemporary on our next stay this April/May with an AP rate (if offered). What were the rates last year?

We stayed at CBR last May and they had great rates out then. I'm pretty sure we paid either $74 or $84 a night. We thought that was awesome. It was a great trip.

Yah, I know that site didnt have the prices, but I thought it would help with the dates...

Last year I stayed at the Polynesian in Mid May, the rates were 179 a night.

Looks the AP rates now are 250 a night through April.. Hope they go down soon!!

Last May, I think we got $99 for a king bed at CBR and $124 (or $129) for a standard view at AKL.

I have the sample prices saved from mousavers.com from July 4 2003 to August 23 2003 time period. compare those to the current ones . from these you should be able to guess what May 2004 would be some where in between I would suppose.

Hope this helps
Jack

It will go a long way towards helping him figure out some estimates for his friends/family.

This is going to be a huge undertaking for all different finances so the more he knows, the better.

Thanks again.

We paid $59 at All Stars and $84 at CS. YC, where we really wanted to stay, was $210-$220.
