Need Quicken help!

I've used Quicken for years and suddenly my check register dates are dd/mm/yyyy instead of my usual mm/dd/yyyy.

I have no idea how they got changed but I can't find anythiing in the Help section to tell me how to get it back to the original format.

Can anybody help me????

This is what I found in Quicken Help (after typing "date format" into the search):

QHI is preset to display the date by month, day, and year: 07/24/98. To have QHI display the date by day, month, and year (24/07/98), you need to change a setting in Windows. This setting applies to all Windows applications.

1 In the Control Panel window, click Regional Settings.
2 Click the Date tab.
3 Select a short date format.
4 Click OK.

I hadn't noticed this abnormality in other programs, so I didn't realize it was in Windows.
