Need quick help linking a friend's one day ticket

We are here now. I just invited a Florida friend to join us on Tuesday. I bought a one day ticket from disney's site and got an email with a bar code and number to show at the park to get his card.

But...I want to get him 3 fast passes and manage his plans so he can come with us that day. How can I add his ticket to MDE if he doesn't have MDE? Can I link him somehow and manage the plans for him? He has zero knowledge of all this and wouldn't know where to start.

Add his name to your MDX Friends list and link his ticket number there. Then as soon as it’s linked, book FPs for him by going to each of your FPs and “Add Guest.”
 
I have him added as a friend on MDE and i got an email from disney with a barcode and ticket confirmation number but when I try to line that number on MDE it says it can't be added.
 
Check your ticket area of your MDX account. Did that ticket get linked to you? If so, Reassign it to your friend.
 

When I type in the number that was emailed to me...for the one day AK ticket we are to pick up at the AK window using my credit card used to purchase and his gov't ID, my MDE (where I added him to breakfast, said I would manage his plans) says the ticket has already been assigned to someone). It seems to show up....but when I go to do FP for him...it says he doesn't have a ticket.

Check my response above your latest post. You need to Reassign the ticket to him using the ticket info already linked in your MDX account.
 
It could also be linked to him but you just can't see him when you go to book FP. I had tickets for all 10 of us, but couldn't see 2 of them. Call disney and they'll transfer you to the IT dept and they can fix it quickly for you.
