I'm purchasing the last 2 tickets on WDW website and need to re-assign my husband's ticket to someone else in my group and re-purchase his ticket (he wants one day less at the parks than the rest of us so he can chill and have downtime...go figure!).

How can I remove the ticket linked to him and assign to someone else in my Friends/Family group?

I'm not sure you can. I'm think that once you assign a ticket to someone in MM+, that ticket is always associated to them. I'm not 100% positive on that though, so I hope for your sake that I'm wrong.

As long as the ticket has never been used, it can be reassigned.

If you manage his profile, go to the 'My Reservations and Tickets' page and there should be an option to reassign the ticket.

If he has his own MDE account, you will need to do the reassignment while logged on as him.

Piggybacking on this you have to have the person you are reassigning it to as a friend or family on MDE but once it is assigned to that other person you can remove them if you want.

I couldn't find the path to re-assign, so I called Disney and within a few minutes a lovely gentleman was able to re-assign the ticket to me. My poor husband...he has his limits and always separates from the family about half-way into our trip for about 1/2 a day. So I asked him if he'd rather me purchase his ticket with one day less than the rest of us so he could re-charge. Saved a few bucks
