OK, all you Disney Addicts......this will be my first trip in a long time with a small child. My DD will be 8mths when we go in March (DS is 10!). I am a little OCD when it comes to being prepared at WDW! I found the perfect bag, the Baggallini, that I have loved and used on multiple trips. However, now the the new addition, I have to go back to carrying around tons of stuff! I need you to give me your opinion on the perfect travel diaper bag for Disney! I like lots of neat little compartments to organize! :hippie:

We took DD when she was 8 months old and used a small backpack plus a bag that attached to the handles of the stroller. We kept a few diapers, wipes, disposable changing pads, a snack cup, a sippy, her hat & a light blanket in the bag on the stroller and then packed extra of those items, 2 extra outfits (in separate ziplocs) a couple of jars of baby food and her bottles & formula dispenser in the backpack. We also kept a soft-sided cooler with a couple of bottles of water for her bottles in the bottom of the stroller.

We put a jar of baby food, a spoon & a disposable bib in a small ziploc. We took two bags to the parks since that's how many jars of food she was on at the time. We also had an empty bag for used nipples since we were using Playtex Nursers and could toss the used liners.

It was nice to have both bags. If we needed to grab something quickly, we could just grab it from the bag on the stroller rather than dig through the backpack. When supplies in the stroller bag ran low, we just reloaded from the backpack.

I have a diaper bag that I LOOOVE in the parks:

SKIP HOP Duo Deluxe

Last year when I got it, it was only available in black, but now it comes in a whole bunch of great colors. (bonus)! I love it b/c it is the perfect size, it has a streamlined design, clips onto the stroller (Love that!), lots of pockets inside and out for easy organization, holds a lot of stuff.

The only negatives to it- I don't like the shoulder pad (but it is removable), and if you stuff too many things into the top two pockets it is harder to reach inside the main part of the bag..but otherwise I LOVE it.

:goodvibes Enjoy trip planning!!!

I just ordered this bag on ebay for our upcoming trip. :cool1: It is the second one I have ordered from this vendor. I have one for my oldest DD, and it is wonderful. It is the perfect size for all day, little pockets for perfect organization, and straps that are just the right length. You can pick the fabrics and have it monogrammed, so it is very personalized. I have not used it in the parks, but cannot imagine that I could find anything better!!!:goodvibes

If you are a sewer, they have a really cute pattern here.

I think the bag is adorable and have been looking into purchasing the pattern myself. I just found out my sister is having a baby BOY in May and my cousin is expecting in August. I think these are cute and look just as cute as the $90 ebay bag :)

We have the same one and love it too. We went when dd3 was 5mo, and it worked out great. I love the top two zipper compartments, and all of the openings. We don't bottle feed, so all we needed were wipes, diapers, an extra set of clothes, my nursing cover up, and dds hat. The funny part of that trip is that every time we put dds hat in the diaper bag we lost it in the depths of the bag. We should have just learned and put it in one of the side compartments where we could find it easily.

We took a JJ Cole Logic bag last time. Love that bag!

I really wanted a Diaper Dude bag, and DH got me one this Christmas. I'm going to take both on my next trip. From time to time we switched and he held the bag for a while. He didn't mind, but I kind of felt sorry for him wearing this pink and brown diaper bag in all those pictures. The one I got for Christmas is a little more manly.
