Does anyone know (which I'm sure there are several of you!!!) where is the best place to see the DHS Party Bash Parade?? and what time is it???

I can't find it listed on the park hours and/or firework parade schedule.. it still has listed S & MC's..

Thanks bunches.. I'm trying to make touring plan cards for the trip!!!!

DH & I LOVED this!! :) It was at 3:00 the day we were there--and I think it's that time every day, but I'm not completely sure.

We sat on the first bench on the right (as you're walking toward the hat). Since it's a performance-type thing, it stops and does the whole show, and then moves and stops again way further up. We were in front of the Bugs Life part of the parade. We intended to go back later in the week and move more toward the front to see the Toy Story part, but we never got there. From what I remember, Toy Story is at the beginning of the parade, then Monsters, Inc., then Incredibles, and then Bugs Life. We watched all of them go past us, but Bugs Life was the one in front of us when they performed, if that makes sense. I was excited because the "walking stick" was actually in the parade--I kept saying (in my best Niles Crane voice), "I'm the only stick with EYEBALLS!!!" DH did not find me all that amusing! :rotfl2:

Thanks SIOH!!!

So, I need to be in a certain area to see a certain set perform... like Toy Story performs one place..but Bug's Life just is part of the parade and performs later???

I'm getting so excited...

The whole thing rolls out like one big parade, then it stops when the front group (the Toy Story group) reaches a certain location. Then, they get out and do this amazing dance and stunt stuff. Each "float" is doing the stuff at the same time--it's just that it stretches a good distance so you're pretty much just seeing the one in front of you. Then the whole thing rolls on to the next location, waits until the front group reaches the certain location, stops and does the whole thing again.

Does that make sense? I can't really figure out how to explain it--too much testing this week. . .my brain is confuzzled!!

Thanks for the info. I hope to catch this when I'm there too. I just saw that it had stop and performances today and wasn't just a regular parade. Does anyone know where to stand for each part so that we can judge where to try and be or if there is anyplace that isn't ideal due to not having a float infront of you?

:) Thanks!!! Now, have Brian run down to DHS..and paint the bench we need in LIME green!!!! or better yet UT colors!!!! :)

That would be great, wouldn't it!!! I'll tell him to break out the Big Orange!

When we watched it, the Toy Story "float" was only up to the store that sells stuffed animals on the right (where you turn off to go to RNR, but well before you get to the hat), and the others were behind it. We could see the Incredibles from where we were and then, of course, Bugs Life. I think I would want to sit at the same place again just so I could watch all of it come by and then watch the one that "landed" in front of me.

Just remember. . .as you walk into DHS, it's the first bench on the right--just in case they don't get it painted UT Orange in time (you know, since those guys got kicked off of the Epcot ball. . .you just can't get good help!! :rotfl2: )

We sat on the same bench as SIOH when we saw it this past weekend. It stopos once on Hollywood Blvd- Toy Story is in the front, Monsters Inc is in the middle and Bug's Life is at the end- I think there is some trampoline work too but we were too far back to see any of it. The incredible come up at the end and can be seen from any of the locations. It then moves and the whole show happens again between the hat and Sounds Dangerous area so either are is fine for viewing- but it stops for 11 minutes each time it stops (we asked a CM) so if you are viewing the second half of the parade it will start getting to you about 3:15 instead of 3.
