need opinions, please!

I can't decide on a hotel for Christmas. While we have travelled to WDW before and after Christmas several times, this is our first Christmas day and morning there, so I want it to be extra special for our family since. We have stayed at all these except the Swan and have never tried concierge at AKL.

Here are our choices:

GF garden view
AKL savannah concierge
WL courtyard view
Swan studio

Please through any thoughts or advice my way! Thank you in advance

Well, I don't think you can go wrong with any of those resorts.

I've never been to WDW at Xmas, & will never be able to as long as I'm working. (Year end)

I have seen pic's of WL decorated for Xmas. They are sure beautiful. I can just imagine them in real life.

Since the hotels you mentioned are in different areas, I'd stay in the one that is closest to where you'll be spending the most time.

I've stayed at WL in mid November and we were lucky enough to be there when they decorated it for Christmas. It was absolutely spectacular. Of course, so was the GF decorations. I have just never felt quite as comfortable there.

My choice would definately be WL - I think the decorations are better there than at GF.

Definitely WL for the theme and that time of year. They seem to match.

I think *you're* the best person to ask this question to, since you've stayed at all these resorts & experienced the Christmas season at WDW.

However, I think I'd skip the Swan since you've never stayed there before...I wouldn't want any *surprises* during such a peak season. [I've not stayed at the Swan either, it may be very nice, I just wouldn't want to *test* it out in peak season.]

I would pick the one that you & your family likes the theming & amenities of best.

I maybe just old fashioned, but I don't see your 3 boys [guessing from your name] liking the GF as much as the AKL or WL, but of course you guys know that better than I would.

IMHO, I personally can not justify the cost of any of the WDW concierge rooms, [preparing to duck from the flames ] so that would not be my choice. However, AKL savanna would be in the running.

So, is it an African adventure you crave this Christmas or a "cozy cabin in the wilderness?"

Between AKL & WL, I think I'd pick the WL for your boys, for purely emotional reasons.
