We have never been to CRT due to the fact that before the online res. system, whenever I tried to book it, it was never available. We are going in October, so I booked CRT online for dinner at 7pm.

After doing so, I decided to look up the menu, and I found out that there are no characters at dinner, and that it is kind of like a celebration dinner.

I have looked everyday online to see if it was available for lunch instead--no luck. BUT, it was available for breakfast.

Now to the question: Is the dinner appropriate for us with our little girls? The breakfast food seems just like all of the other restaurants, but the atmosphere alone is what I am really going for. But, I don't want the dinner to be too fancy and not fun for them.

Sorry if I'm rambling but I am trying to make the best decision for us :thumbsup2
Thank you for any advice that you can give...

Oh dinner hands down! They will feel like princesses, i mean breakfast is fun...do not get me wrong...but at dinner it is a cinderella theme! There are tons of little kids, i mean disney is all about the family, especially in MK. Do not worry, you will make this a magical and special vacation for them, and this sounds like the icing on the cake!

Keep the dinner until you can get a lunch spot, I was able to get one last year 2 weeks before we left for Disney you just have to keep looking or calling (I have a cell plan that includes free friends and I added the Disney # so I don't use up my minutes :thumbsup2), If you are looking for the princess interaction you will want breakfast or lunch, but I believe you still get the see Cinderella in the lobby for pictures and then the fairy Godmother and mice do a mini show during dinner, since it is the atmosphere you are after I think you would still enjoy dinner. If you are unable to get lunch and want the princess interaction try to get an additional meal at Princess storybook (Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot) that was a great princess interaction and only 1 TS credit if you are on the meal plan and you get the pictures included.

FWIW
When we went for dinner (Feb. 2009) we saw Fairy godmother, the mice and Cinderella
HTH :flower3:

It is different than breakfast or lunch but you still get to see Cinderella. I think you see her downstairs before you go to your table. She doesn't come around for autographs and pictures while you are eating. You do that before I think. It will still be very nice.

We have only tried breakfast and lunch (and were mostly there for the experience). I thought breakfast was more fun for some reason (even though it was the same set-up), and I actually preferred the food, too. The lunch wasn't really to my taste, but the breakfast (although just a breakfast) was scrumptious. I really like the stuffed french toast thingy with blueberry sauce. ;)
