We will be at Disney for 4 nights, staying at the Wilderness Lodge. What are 4 can't-miss restaurants that we should try. We will be on the dining plan and we will have a 1 year old with us. We are not interested in doing things like Hoop Dee Do this time around. We're looking for full, table service restaurants. We are thinking of going to Artists Point one night, but I worry that it would not be an appropriate restaurant for a 1 year old. Thoughts? TIA!

BTW- the one year old is our DD! I don't know why I made it sound like we are just taking some random 1 year to Disney with us!

I think that maybe the character meals would be nice since you have a little one. I would suggest Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary for sure. We are going to 1900 Grand Faire at Grand Floridian this year and this is a character meal. I have a 18 month nephew we are taking for the 1st time and he will enjoy seeing all of the characters. I think your daughter would enjoy it too! pixiedust:

Well, having a 1yo I would definitly suggest the character meals unless she is really good about sitting (unlike my 16mos. DS!!). I would definitly go to Chef Mickeys in the Comtemporty like Disneyorl said. I also would recommend Ohanas at the Polynesian and The Garden Grill at the Land Pavillion in Epcot. Have fun and enjoy your trip!:)

My children were fine with it but some young ones are overwhelmed witht he big characters so be careful with Character meal.

#1 Magic Kingdon - Fav character meals: Liberty Tree Tavern - family style dinner with Minnie, pluto, Goofy, chip and dale
Epcot - LeCellier
MGM - 50'd Prime Time Cafe or Brown Durby
Contemporary - Concourse Steakhouse
Boardwalk - Spoodles
Poly - Ohana
Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon

I have taken my girls to all of these restaurants since they were babies and everyone has found something to eat

We loved the Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge! The food was good and it was very entertaining! Whatever you do...do NOT ask for ketchup!! :)
