Need opinions on Satellite ISP's - Direcway?

We're thinking of finally coming over into technology and geting high speed internet. The problem is, we live in a relatively new area, and many of the popular providers aren't offered, so we are thinking of going with a satellite ISP. One that I've been looking at is Direcway. Any thoughts on either? Pro's? Cons? Thanks!

I know - I just saw the price!

But, for us, it's either that, or dial up, and for what we are paying for the extra phone line, plus our MSN service, it wouldn't be that much more. I'm just wondering if the service is really that good. I have a tendancy to fear change, but my husband is trying to coax me out of my old school shell.

When I had DirectTV come out to install another Tivo, the installer said to wait another year or so when they make the technology better than it is now.
He also said it is over priced and very slow compared to cable or DSL.
So we decided to wait for another year and check back into it then.
