? - need opinions on 7 months out at BLT

We are planning a trip for my daughter's 16th bday and currently have a grand villa on hold at OKW for the third week of august 2011....can anyone venture a guess at what my chances might be for a grand villa at BLT at the 7th month window?

Unlikely. BLT does not have many GVs. Though it has not had many years of experience yet, the availability of GVs there at 7 months is likely to be similar to getting one at BWV at 7 months and the chances there are next to zero except for a possible weekend night.

At least you are trying during a not too busy time. I think you have a chance if you call first thing in the morning. Those villas are allot of points and that may keep some folks from renting them.What a nice 16 th Birthday. Good luck

Sounds like your extremely excited about BLT. It is a great location if you are spending alot of time in Magic Kingdom. I think because it require so many points you might still be ok.

I haven't stayed at BLT yet but I do know the largest rooms in any DVC resort are at Old Key West. The grand villa is 2 levels at OKW with plenty of room. I'm sure if you have to use your OKW reservation you won't be disappointed.

When I called for a 2 bedroom last Oct for a week at the 7 month mark, the only thing available for the entire week at BLT was actually a grand villa lake view. Go figure. .

So personally I think your odds are way better then zero because of my own first hand experience.

I can't wait for online ressies. Hopefully it will show us the availability of the other resorts before we can book so we can better plan for situations such as this.
