So, it looks like we will be getting a call about cancelling teppenyaki in september, and I am having a hard time finding a replacement... Dh & I are very plain eaters, so tons of food on the menus do not look appetizing...

Really the only other place that we might like to eat in Epcot is Coral Reef, but most of their dishes have sauces etc on them... Any one know if we would be able to get the NY strip steak w/nothing on it, along w/a baked potato or fries? Just was not sure how they were about making things plain or with basic sides? We will also have 2 small children, one of which is a 2 1/2 yr old that does okay in sit down situations, but not if the meal is going to take 2 hrs... Any suggestions?

We were also thinking about just adding a TS meal our last day at MGM, maybe 50's prime time cafe? I thought we could maybe get fried chicken and mashed potatoes... Will they do w/out the gravy? This seems like it might be a funner place for dd's. (We are already doing the playhouse disney lunch on another day)

TIA for any help!

Have eaten at Coral Reef twice and both times got the sauce for my steak on the side, NO PROBLEM. We really like Coral Reef:cool1:

I always order the sauce on the side or no gravy or something else to make my order complicated and I can honestly say that all of the restaurants have been very accommodating. I am sure that they will allow you to do this. Happy planning! :goodvibes

Leaving in 17 days!! :woohoo:

I've never had a problem with special requests at Disney. I don't like gravy or sauces on my food, and I usually request and receive them on the side.

Ditto here! I am a very plain eater myself, but that has never stopped me from trying out all that Disney has to offer. I just ask for things on the side or a substitute and it has never been a problem.
