Trying to think of somethings to pack to make for breakfast for DH and I that we don't need to refrigerate. So far we have bisquick pancake mix, corn beef hash, and toast. We are packing our electric skillet to cook on.

Walmart sells small dried hash browns in a milk container, all you need is water then fry them. We take bagels with PB (bring a small $10 toaster), pop tarts, dry (powdered) egg substitute, cereals with individual Horizon Organic Milks (no refrigeration needed, about 8oz each), instant Oatmeal, grits (bring a small electric water heater, great for tea, Starbucks individual coffee, hot cocoa), pancake mix & syrup (no it does not require refrigeration). Boxed muffins, cakes, donuts. Enjoy. :thumbsup2

I'll have to look for the hashbrowns and the powdered eggs. We will already have donuts and other goodies. Just drawing a blank on some hot foods to make.

Oatmeal/hot cereal/grains, bread/pitas/bagels/tortillas, peanut/almond butter, nuts, fruit.

A nice wrap with nut butter, banana slices and granola is a great way to start the day!

Pre-cooked bacon doesn't need refrigeration either. Nice bacon and egg sandwich on toast ;)

My Visa card needs no refrigeration and its never failed me at Trail's End Buffet! :rotfl2:

Well, if you have any way to heat up water, many stores including Walart sell Mountain House freeze dried products in their camping area. Their eggs and crumbled bacon packets aren't too bad. I use them for camping and in our 72-hour kits.

I have tried the boxed hash browns and am sorry to say they tasted like the box. :) Why not bring a real potato? If I had to have potatoes camping I would bring instant mashed.

I have to ask why no cooler? Are you flying and camping?

The issue I have is I need more than sugar and carbs for breakfast. I need at least an egg or some sausage. I would suggest precooked bacon, but thats only if you and your DH would eat the whole pack at one time.
