I walk a lot in the summer in sandals sometimes when it's pouring down rain and I really, really love Birkenstocks. I get no blisters, my feet never hurt, and they've got decent support. :thumbsup2

Oh I shouldn't have looked at that link. Those are some cute sandals. Will need to look into those a little more when I have more time.

Keens are another brand - originally made for canoeing/kayaking so if they aren't supposed to slip hauling a kayak out of mossy wet rock, you should be fine. Not as cute as some of the others though.

I love my chacos, but they have a very high arch. They are shoes you love or you hate because of the arch.

Waldies

The original shoe. Made specifically not to slip.

I love mine!!!!

Oh boy do I know what you are talking about:rotfl: I hydroplaned one time my heart jumped out of my chest. I also think my Mickey Fit Flops do well on wet surfaces. But I love my Merrills.

My Crocs don't get slick until the bottoms are worn out....if the bottoms are worn out though it's dangerous. I know my husband swears by Shoes For Crews for non slip grip and comfortable all day wear. They have a Croc type shoe, along with regular work shoes....which you wouldn't probably want for Disney LOL

I slipped, fell into a planter, and almost broke my toe while walking to DL wearing my worn out crocs. Then I fell right on the bridge in front of the castle while talking on the phone about falling into the planter.:rotfl: I still wear my crocs when it is not raining. I love my crocs but wear my Teva sandals at DL.
