Need Nice Beach Resort in Panhandle of FL

We are looking for a really nice resort to stay at in the panhandle of FL. We really would like a nice pool area for the kids. Any suggestions?

We like to stay at either the Holiday Sunspree on Panama City Beach which even has a children's mini water park and is right on the beach. You step out from the back of the hotel walk past the pool and bar and you are on the beach; or at the Palmetto Motel. The Palmetto is not fancy and it is further down on the beach, but it is clean and roomy, has a pool and hot tub and right on the beach.

We lived in Panama City Beach for almost twenty years and this is where we stay when we visit.

Check out www.sandestin.com. in Destin, FL. They have alot to offer for families as far as activities, etc. However, their pools while very nice are not anything extraordinary.

San Destin is much nicer but more expensive.

There's a ferry to take guests to Noriega Point if they want a beach. It's right across the harbor. You could swim it in a few strokes except for the boat traffic. The Gulf is right on the other side.
