Thank you everyone! I have some research to do! Keep the recommendations coming!
My favorite sheets, surprisingly, are Target's Threshold Performance sheets. They have deep pockets so I don't struggle making my king size bed, they have tags inside that indicate "top/bottom" which I like, and they stay cool which is important to me. They are soft to me, but I don't know if I'd categorize them as soft like a baby blanket or something in that vein.
That's the problem I'm having finding sheets. The corner pockets are so big that the bottom sheet never stays tucked in tightly. I hate sleeping on a wrinkled sheet.stay put on the corners of the mattress.
For those of you buying Costco sheets, has that been recent?
I bought some Kirkland sheets many years ago (probably about 8 years now). They were just "okay." I wouldn't buy again (these were the nice ones). But I know that manufacturers change yearly so maybe they are better now?
When they have the Jennifer Adams ones in stock, we buy those. And we like them a lot. We don’t buy their private label sheets even though we buy a lot of their private label products such as towels, milk, eggs, and batteries.
Love Garnet Hill. We are actually getting ready to switch into our Flannels. Williams-Sonoma makes my favorite sheets ever. They are pricey though. They are crisp and soft at the same time. I don’t want to get out of bed when we have these on.Garnet Hill also has nice percales. I too could never sleep on flannel sheets, and don't care for sateen. I like crisp, not rough, cotton.

I love these sheets too and if you can’t find them in the store you can get them from Costco online.Jennifer Adams.
Honestly I really like IKEA’s 100% cotton sheets. The higher thread count ones aren’t a super high count by any means but they’re very reasonably priced, last for YEARS and are pretty soft.
one word. Bamboo
I agree on the Threshold sheets, probably some of the softs sheets I've used that aren't jersey sheets. My favorite sheets, surprisingly, are Target's Threshold Performance sheets. I have not tried them myself, but there are sheets on Amazon that have a cult following - Mellanni Brushed Microfiber 1800 Bedding. Comes in a ton of colors and has 4.5 stars with over 60,000 reviews which is pretty amazing. Affordable too.
