We are getting a puppy tomorrow (totally not budget related) and we can't think of a name. It will be a white tiny maltipoo. We don't know if it's a girl or boy. Here are some names my DS8 doens't like: casper, daisy, frosty, snow bear, mickey, minnie (don't ask, sometimes I think he's not mine) The only name he likes so far is Indy. We like movie, comic book greek names but we are open to anything.

We have a Boston Terrier named Obi...as in Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, my DS8 and DH love SW! Good luck!

We tried with both of our dogs to use Disney names.
Our 8 year old Bichon is Jasmine and our 3 month old is Miley.
We like Nala and Pixie too!

We have a Riley and a Simon. My sister had a dog named Zev it mean wolf I think. She also has a Great Dane named Oden, a lab named Utah.

I always wanted a Chocolate Lab (ok, only if it stayed small) named Yoo Hoo...like the chocolate drink. I think it would be cute when calling for the dog!

We also got a little puppy on Superbowl Sunday. He is a lab retriever and pretty white in color. He looks like the cottonelle puppy..soo cute. Anyway his name is Hurley.

I LOVE coming up with pet names! I can't think of names until I see a pic though. Please post one of him/her when they're in their new home. I love pet pictures. :goodvibes

Bedknobs and Broomsticks was on tv yesterday, and I thought "Emelius Brown" would be a good name for a male doggy.

Names I thought of are
Jackson, Fisher, Bella, Snow, Ella, Hannah, Abby, Daisy, Lucy, Ginger, Lady:goodvibes

"Karma"

Sometimes it will be GOOD KARMA, and sometimes it will be BAD KARMA.

I'm a Guide Dog puppywalker and they have lots of weird and wonderful names. We had a Lyle and now we have Ryan (his littermates are Rhumba, Roxi, Rip, Rex and Rory) Others we have met have been called Bliss, Ollie, Razer, Voss, Varney, Stevie, Amy, Hughie, Edward, Preston, Ruben, Lewis. We also once looked after one called Nessie - as in the Loch Ness monster - and we called her sleepy-ness, poopy-ness, cheeky-ness etc I loved that name!

Good luck with your new arrival and please post some pics. :thumbsup2

We like to name our animals fun names as often as we can. Sometimes they get regular names but get nicknames. I had a cat named Turkey, a bird named bark, and a turtle named Godzilla. My Brother had brother and sister siamese cats named Denice and Denephew. A Maltipoo should be one fuzzy pup, call it slick or baldy :D How bout Kujo? OOH! How about Kitty ala Monsters Inc?

I forgot to add that while growing up the neighbors had 2 outdoor cats named Booger and Snot. LMBO!

 I am sooo sad right now. We called the lady who had the dogs Friday morning. She had 2 boys and 1 girl left. We told her we could be there as soon as she was available to pick one out. We told her we didn't care what the sex was we just wanted DS8 to have a couple to choose from. This is his valentines/birthdat gift. I didn't want to say you can get a dog and this is the one your getting. I wanted him to be able to choose. Anyway the lady said no, she promised someone else first pick and she's a woman of her word and we could have first pick on Saturday. We said OK, we totally understand that. She's calls this morning and said would tomorrow be better she has basketball games to attend all day. We said sure. I called her tonight to see what time was good and she said she only had 1 boy left!!!!! WHAT!!!! She said if we want it we need to get it tonight, she also said she had a girl from another litter that is available but she won't be ready for 2 weeks. We asked her if we could come up and look at the boy and the girl and decide? She said no she had to sell the boy tonight and if we don't want the girl she didn't want to do business with us. WHAT. I don't understand, what happened to being a woman of her word. We could have pick out a dog Friday, we even had a converstation about how a dog chooses you, you don't choose the dog so she thought it was wonderful that DS would get to pick etc. I'm so mad and upset for DS right now. Looks like we are not getting a dog tomorrow. Thanks for the help though.

What a terrible experience for you and your son! That woman sounds awful. I don't mean to be too inquisitive, but when you talk about multiple litters, I have to worry she is running a puppy mill. If so, there could be a silver lining in this sad situation. My DD (senior in college) has a rescue dog from a puppy mill and it is tragic to see how afraid of men he is. He has multiple scars and I know they horribly abused him. Puppy mill dogs are so much more likely to have genetic and other health problems. I am so sad for you that your little guy won't get his puppy for Valentine's day.:sad2:
