Hello!

I just finally got my husband back to WDW with me this September after 2.75 years. We had a great time and I proved to him that I can do non-commando style. He had such a great time and really like the wilderness lodge when we ate dinner there (artist pt) that we have reserved a studio there for March. The problem is places for dinner. I know I have some time to figure this out, but with him, it might take all that time. He does NOT do buffets. He worked at one for over 2 years and will not return to any of them. He loved Ohanas and Le Cellier (Ohanas was acceptable since it was served to the table). He thought all the food at Ohanas was great and LOVED the prime rib at Le Cellier. We also liked the lounge in Japan (great sushi). The thing is that I am willing to pay Lecellier and & ohana prices but not Yachtmans & Artist point. (trying to save money for other things like cirque).

Any ideas?
Melissa

Have you thought about buying the dining plan? I'm sure that you will save money, since you are planning to have some sit down meals and will be staying onsite anyway.

Two places that come immediatly to mind are Kona Cafe and Spoodles. Both would be in the same price range as Le Cellier & Ohana & both are among our favorite WDW restaurants. Kona especially. It's a real WDW Gem. The food is always fantastic there. We have done many lunches & several dinners there.

Unless DVC finally get access to the dinning plan, the meals will come out of pocket (although I have DDE).

Leota, Do you think doing Kona & Ohanas in the same trip is too much (same type of food?) He will be very disappointed if we don't do Ohanas but I would love to try Kona again (was last there in 2002)

I'm doing Kona twice and Ohana one night during my next trip, so doing each once shouldn't be to much, especially if your DH loves Ohana.
