My wonderful guide has retired and I didn't think we would really need a guide anymore since we don't think we'll be buying any more points. But now I have a potential member and I need to put their names on file in case they buy in the future so we get any incentive that might be in place at that time.

Can someone recommend a guide for me to request?

When ours retired, they assigned us one. He sent us a note that we promptly lost and called us and left a message we erased because we won't be buying more points and if I need to, if I call they'll tell me who he is. So if you call, you might have one already.

My guide has left as well a few months ago. I got a call about a month ago from DVC that they were goiving me a new guide. They tried to put me through on the phone, but said they were busy. they never provided any details about who my new guide was. They were supposed to call me back but never did.

Well, last week friends of ours were at the World and toured and bought into AKL. They provided my name as well. So I called to find my guide (kinda like - In Search of Nemo). Member services was able to provide a phone # and name for me. So far we have played phone tag since they have some training event from noon today to some time around 3 tommorrow.

Thank you for the replies. I'm going to call tomorrow.

Depending on where your Guide works, you might get different perks or extras.

Historically SSR Guides have better access to more stuff than Guides who work from home, Celebration, DL or other locations.

If you have any promotional emails from DVC in your deleted email box, [like the one dated 10-11-13 regarding AKL almost being sold-out], your new assigned guide's name will be listed there.
