Need new fridge

We need to replace our fridge. We want a freezer on top style, 18 cubic feet about $1,000. Everything in that price range looks so cheaply made, the shelves really flimsy.
Does anyone have a recently purchased fridge that they can recommend?

best buy has some on clearance starting at $200. Make sure you check the reviews first. There are some great deals!

Some don't like Sears, but having had to replace everything in my kitchen over the last few years, I go to Sears last, and find I should have gone their first.
They have the best selection, prices are right on, and more importantly, unlike the other places they had the refrigerator in stock. Every other place needed 1 to 2 weeks to get it delivered.

We ended up with a Kenmore made by LG, side by side 26 cubic foot on sale for $875, regularly $1495.

That price is crazy!

I had to replace two fridges. The first one went in the kitchen and all other appliances were black so it did cost more than the other fridge but it's one with the freezer on the top and the other one is white with a freezer on the bottom.

Do you have any scratch and dent places? The white one is a scratch and dent. I didn't see much in the way of scratches or dents and where it is now, you wouldn't have a clue since all you see is the front. The only thing is it didn't come with any ice cube trays. Not a big deal.

I love the white fridge with the freezer on the bottom. I don't need nearly as many frozen things as fridge items. So much easier to get things from the fridge.
