Need more help - Lunch at GF?

DD sending DS (3 1/2) (DW not coming on this trip) on Pirate cruise in mid-May when times move to 0930-1130 from 1000-1200 and wondering what lunch is like at the GF or am I better off going to CR or walking to Poly for lunch?

The GF Cafe is a nice spot for lunch. It's right around the corner from the marina. I'd just eat there, and then browse in the nice but very expensive shops

You might also want to consider going to the GF Spa for a treatment while your son is on the PC... you'd have time for a massage or something.

Hi there...

I like the little Cafe at GF.. I have eaten there twice..

The last time I ate there it was when my daughter was on the pirate cruise and I went and had eggs benedict - yum!!

A couple of years ago I had lunch there and it was good - just some type of fresh sandwich.. ham and swiss I think.

I would recommend it.

Also they have a large food court area... typical food court counter service, but lots of choices.

This is one of our favorite spots and even though you do not have to call months in advance for PS, we do. Even if we are not staying at this resort, it is worth a visit.

The service is impeccable. You feel like you are a queen or king. The presentation is remarkable, down to the bread with this unusal dipping sauce.

The burgers, ruebens, grouper sandwiches - let alone their special - the Earl of Sandwiches are really top notch.

Their desserts are displayed as you walk into the dining room and are as delicious as they look.

They stopped serving dinner there and some people on this board started an e-mail chain petition which I gladly signed on to because this place is just a great rest stop with great food.
