Brand new here and am in need of major advice...
My DH got invited to a launch at the Kennedy Space Center in June. We figure that's a once or twice in a lifetime experience and we thought we'd add on some days at the Disney resorts.
We have a 10 month old daughter who is usually unbelievably chill. She just started crawling everywhere so I am a little worried about her being stuck in a stroller or us holding her all day.
Is there a place for babies to crawl around in MK?
What should I pack in a diaper bag to save trouble but not make it so heavy? DD drinks bottles and from sippy cups (when she feels like it ha ha).
Do you think we can get away with staying outside the park? We'll have a rental car but assume we'd want to go back to the hotel midday if necessary.
Are babies this age (she'll be 11 mos) afraid of the characters?
What's your favorite non-ride thing about Epcot?
DH is a native Southern Californian so he doesn't care about going to MK. From what I've heard World blows away Land. Is this true? The rides look the same.
Any rides or attractions we should avoid with the baby? Obviously height restricted ones but what about Haunted Mansion types? Do they get scared?
If you could have a car or take the Disney transportation, which would you choose?
Is it worth getting a food plan for the 2 of us?
Since this is a last minute trip, we need to stay on a budget. Any other ideas on how to save money?
I've checked out touringplans and mousesavers. Any other site recommendations?
