Need Kitten Names

Yeah, Cleo and Monkeyboy, those would work!!!

i vote for "monkeyboy" because i always threaten my kids with "i'm gonna sell you to the monkeyboys!", this way i could back up the threat with "they have claws and shred stuff, attack innocent mice (dd's nickname)..." :rotfl:

don't forget Alice's cat Dyna!
Noted.

The list is by no means exhaustive. I want to start keeping a list of Disney-related pet names for future reference. I did another big list on another thread once... let me go a-searchin...

This person was asking for names for a male puppy... but there was some good brainstorming.

our cats are cali, garfield and tiger

Years ago I got a solid black kitten who was so cute but mean

We named it Cujo

Oh... also forgot these...

The Jungle Book
Bagheera
Shere Khan

thought of another one-if you are an old time movie fan:

"cat"-from "breakfast at tiffany's".

I'm :rotfl: at some of the suggestions! Last night I mentioned changing the names of the kittens to my DH and he *acted* shocked. I have some work to do... He didn't like Cleo, which I think is cute. Sebastian was brought up as a name for the male, which my DH thought was terrible. Actually he looks like a Sebastian (the kitten, not my DH).

I'll have to make up a list of possible names to submit for his approval. :teeth:

Thanks for all of the ideas! I wonder if it's the whole Disney thing that my DH is resisting.

If I wasn't so allergic to cats and was able to get 2 kittens I would steal an idea from one of my DH's cousins.....

Her kittens' names were: Mac and Tosh

Guess she really liked apples!! I always thought it was cute!!

How about Conversationist and questioner? :rotfl2:

Yep, Connie and Q. Can you imagine me explaining that to my non-DIS husband? :rotfl:

Mac and Tosh is cute. Makes it easy to call the 2 of them.

We got new kittens a couple of weeks ago. The female came with the name Venus and the male Apollo. She is a dilute calico/tortie--basically grey with some light orange and white. He is a buff and white tabby. My DH wants to keep the names, but I'm not so sure they are working for me. LOL She does look like a goddess (Venus is the goddess of love) and he is orangish (Apollo is the god of the sun), but I'm just not crazy about the names.

Our other animals have Disney names. Our cats are Tigger and Belle and our dogs Magic (we were waiting to get a dog until after our first WDW trip almost 8 years ago so named him Magic after the MK...also his tail looks like a magic wand) and Sheena (she came to us named, but there was a Sheena show or movie filmed at WDW, according to my sister).

Anyway, my DH is not crazy about Disney names, so if it was Disney it would need to be a bit subtle. Or it can be something other than Disney.

One possible name that suits her is Cleopatra because of the saw she looks and acts 9and we could call her Cleo). But don't what I'd name her brother (I know that the real Cleapatra had a brother, but I'd need to be able to pronounce our kitten's name. :teeth:

So, any ideas? If my DH gets his way they'll keep their current names, so I need good alternatives!

Well we have Prince Henry and that really seems to suit our little explorer. Then there is Jaggy (he came with the name) but he looks like a Jaguar so its perfect. I think you have to go by personality. Give it a little bit of time to get to no them well and one day it will just come to you.

My sister named her kitties Mickey and Mouse...I have a Minnie, Belle, and Little Red---although she could be called Big Red Now...How about Alice nad Koda? :teeth:
