Need Jetblue help, please!

We love Jetblue and have flown using only them in the past and I want to keep it that way! We like to fly out of the small airport which is only 20mins from our house. For our upcoming trip in Nov I noticed there is only 2 departing flights on the day we want to leave and also 2 arriving flights the day we want to come back. The departing flights(this is from SWF)started low but the prices have gone up. My question is does Jetblue usually add more departing flights once the 2 that are for sale book up? I flew out of this airport in April and I remember there being about 4-5 departing flights that day. I just don't remember when they became available. Are they only offering 2 departing flights at the smaller airports now? I see the same type of flights for the White Plains airport. Any insight to how Jetblue works would be helpful! I just want to fly out of SWF as early in the day as possible.

I can't speak for JetBlue specifically but as a general rule flights are rarely added once the schedule is released on airlines like JetBlue and SW. One of the pros of flying these airlines is once they release the schedule they generally intend to fly that schedule.

JetBlue did reduce the schedule after their winter "melt down" saying they had grown faster then thier infrastructure allowed them to support.

schedules can also be limited for various reasons, especially for smaller airports. especially for non-legacy airlines which essentially have to fight their way into being able to operate out of the airport (airports don't grow terminals and gates magically everytime an airline comes onto the scene - and legacies sure don't look forward to the competition).

is it possible there are more flights and they're booked? it's possible they may become available again in the future if that's the case.

Howdy Neighbor! I'm actually flying out of SWF in September when we go to WDW. I don't know when you're flying but I think there were at least a half dozen flights in each direction on the dates we're flying. I picked the only non-stop flight in each direction leaving at 11:20 and arriving about 2:15 each way. I'm kind of surprised you only had two choices, I don't know what's up with that. Maybe it depends on the day of the week you fly?

we must be neighbors too! we just flew out of SWF on jetblue 2 weeks ago, and we only had 2 flights to pick from. they had actually changed my flight time a little while ago... we were going to fly out at 8:30 am, but they seemed to have cancelled all 8:30am flights and now only have 11:30am and 1:30 or 2:30 pm... 11:30 was still fine of course. you can't beat flying out of stewart as opposed to newark or having to do the city airports (yuk!) We got in the car, the kids asked about 20 minutes later 'when will be be there?', and to their delight, we were just about there! (as opposed to a couple or few hours on the road for the other airports). I hope they continue to expand, which they're supposed to.

I do love the fact that the airport is so close. There's nothing like landing and knowing your house is only a 20 min drive away! I just like to leave early so we can get there early in the day. I also like to leave in the evening so I don't feel like we waisted a day. With DME you have to leave about 3 hours before your flight and if the only options are 11:30 and 2:30, that takes away a whole day. I know it could be worse. I just hope they add flights like in April where I had a lot to choose from.
