We will be spending a week in Orlando Thanksgiving week, renting a vacation home, please take a look at our schedule and tell me what if anything you would change. We will not have fotl access since we are not staying onsite, and honestly I can't see spending another $200+ for ($37x3=$111x2parks!) as it ='s close to what we are paying for admission already. We really want to know about crowds leading up to Turkey Day, we figure to avoid the parks after. Also since Sea World is more walk-thru and less rides, what's going to be the best day there.

Sunday-IOA with Mythos for dinner
Monday-US
Tuesday- Shopping
Wednesday-Sea World
Thursday-Dinner with the family in Tampa
Friday- ???

None of this is set in stone and we can swap things around, but these are things we are wanting included-how would you schedule these? Thanks in advance, this is our first trip to US/IOA and Sea World and we are getting a little anxious-:Pinkbounc :bounce:

You don't need an entire day for shopping.
The best time to visit the parks is first thing in the morning. The parking garage opens at 8am, that's when you want to drive in. Go back to the parks on Tuesday morning to do your favorites. If you buy the 3 for 2 day ticket, you can go on Tuesday morning, and then go shopping.

Avoid the parks and Best Buy on Friday. Check out Clearwater Beach. I would probably switch shopping to Sunday and IOA to Tuesday. Rob is right to be there when the park opens.

Odd that you mention to avoid Best Buy on Friday-we actually hadn't even considered going to Best Buy-are they going to have a killer sale we shouldn't miss the day after Thanksgiving? ;) We actually had considered a beach, is Clearwater closer than Cocoa?

Clearwater is closer to the family dinner in Tampa. They probably have more beach left after the hurricanes as well. There was a post a while back about how busy Best Buy was the day after Thanksgiving. I went there at 5:30 am and still balked at the queue.
