Need input on water parks

Going on a solo trip for a few days and thinking of doing a water park for the first part of the day. I am looking for a place to just relax, lay out, maybe do a lazy river if available and people watch. Which would you recommend between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon?

My vote's for Typhoon Lagoon. Just personal preference. TL has a big lazy river. I grab a big float and just drift along. Wonderful. If you're going between end of Oct and end of March, only 1 water park will be open at a time. TL-only open end of year to early Jan, BB-only open early Jan to end of March.

I agree that Typhoon Lagoon would be your best bet. The lazy river is amazing and they have the snorkeling that I have always found really slow paced and relaxing.

Thanks guys! I'm actually doing a last minute trip and am leaving this Sunday I may look into the snorkeling. Never done that before.

Just my two cents...I prefer the slides at BB, but lazy river TL is better...and that tidal wave pool is fun!

Another vote for Typhoon Lagoon. That's what I would do. Every mom needs a break .

Another vote for TL -- the lazy river there feels longer and I like all the lush, tropical foliage. I also feel like there are more places to relax over there (other than the big beachy area, there is another one (and it is quieter) over by the 3 water coasters, and a few others tucked here and there.

Looks like TL is my place...this is my private getaway before I go back to teaching (get back in town on Wed..start school on Thursday). Not big into slides or coasters, although I may try them. I just want a place to relax and read and enjoy the atmosphere of people being on vacation.
