Need input for getting ressies at Chef Mickey's

We just finalized our trip for October. I would really like to do dinner at Chef Mickey's the day we arrive but when I called yesterday they were booked. I've read several threads that say to keep trying to get ressies. Is the best way to do this to call or to check online? We don't typically make ADRs because I have a 3 year old and I'd rather just do counter service than plan all of our meals out, but I would really like to do Chef Mickey's with him. Any advice?

Corey Chef Mickeys is a fast fill I would keep trying on the on-line web site I always have better luck there you just have to be persistant & hopefully something will open up for you. I would also choose a meal option rather than a 2 hour window of time..Know what I mean? Hang in there we got it for Thanksgiving which almost made me pass out with joy

I am trying to get a chef mickey ressie for Nov. I am so frustrated. I really wanted to take my 1 yr old there. We have gone every year for 5 yrs. Disney won't be the same with out dinner at chef mickey.

You need to keep an eye on the October cancellation board. I just posted earlier this afternoon that I saw a Chef Mickey for 10/15 at 5:25pm for a party of 4. I don't know if that is still available.

Also I have a breakfast booked for 10/14 at 9:30am and dinner for 10/16 at 6:30pm. I don't think I want to keep both. I will talk to my husband and kids and will probably cancel one of them. Let me know if your interested.
