Need info really quick on Fort Meyers area

I have posted this over on the CB but am in a big rush for info!! If you have any info please post!

Just got a call from my brother-he is a trucker-he is going to be in Fort Meyers in a couple of hours and has a day to spare before loading up and heading on his way again.
He is looking for a great place to stay and wonders what there is to do around there!
He is in his mid twenties and his girlfiend is with him. He likes to have a good time!
Keep in mind he needs to get around in a big rig so he needs easy access!
If anyone has any ideas/recommendations ect please post..I am going to search the net quick and call him back as I am heading off to work right away.

many years ago lived in that area..ft meyers beach is his best bet as I recall there was nothing in ft meyers but edison's home and i don't think he wants to go there..ft meyers beach is pretty hopping and I'm sure he could have a good time there..marianne

second vote for the beaches! Not sure how he will park a big rig! But the beaches are so pretty!
