Need info on sunscreen

My family has a fair complection. We need sun screen for our scalps. I would prefer some that you can spray on that won't make our hair greasy. Any suggestions?

We are all fair also. We all wear hats. Haven't really seen a sunscreen specifically for scalps. I have put a spray (waterbabies) on my kids scalps when they swim. That sun is so intense I think a hat is the best option.

One summer I used a spray on sunscreen just for scalps. I don't remember the name of it, but my hair started to fall out. I use a hat instead.

I think the hat may be your best bet. I know when my kids were babies, I use to put the sun screen on their head, but they had next to no hair. I am fair & burn easy. I use a spf of 45. Without a hat, my scalp will burn. I will not put sun screen in my hair

I swear by Clinique's SFP 30 spray on sunscreen. It's non-greasy and pretty much waterproof. It will make hair look a bit greasy if it gets on it, but if you can miss the hair, you'll be fine.

I usually only reapply it once if I'm outside for long periods of time and I've been using it for years and have never burned, even when at the beach! Just make sure you apply it 20 minutes before going outside for best results. It is a bit pricey (about $16), but well worth it. In fact, I've got to get a new bottle today for our WDW trip next week!

I'm not sure if you can find any sunscreen that won't make your hair greasy.

We're fair skinned as well and use Coppertone Sport spray-on sunscreen. It's spf 30 and totally non-greasy. Works beautifully.
