We have a fearless DD (7) who wants to do all the thrill rides and a DS (2) who can't ride anything with height restrictions. Both DH and I do thrill rides. When we baby swap so DS doesn't go, can DD go again with the other parent?
We want her prepared in advance plus, I don't want to be the parent always riding alone.
Thanks
Cheryl

Neither parent has to ride alone. DD can take get 2 rides, one with you and one with dad! We do this all the time. Our children are a decade apart---11 years old and a 10 month old. We have PAP's so are at WDW frequently. One thing many parents don't seem to realize is that they don't have to wait outside in the hot sun for the other riders. Many attractions have a inside area to wait, and actually have activities you can do. For example, there are game to play and even a indoor playground area at Mission Space. When the 1st set of riders go to the entrance of Mission Space, the others enter through the store and keep walking to the game area. There are a few benches for sitting, too. At test track, you do the same thing and there are model cars to look at and a store to for browsing.

I am thrilled, too! We will have 10 month old and six and a half year old - we are hoping she'll do RnRC - and that she'll do it with each of us!

You have already got the right answer but let me add the advice to check with the CM each and every time for the child swap. We found it can vary from ride to ride and even on the same ride it can vary depending on the CM. Make sure the "non riding" child is with you and either use the FP or standbyline telling the CM your intention to use CS and they will give you the CS pass.

Then the non riding parent and non riding child can either wait in the gift shop, do another attracion or grab a treat while the first pair ride. Then the other parent rides with the riding child while the parent who rode takes the non rider for some other fun. We found by having cellphones, 2 ways or even a meeting spot this was lots of fun.

For example while dh and dd rode ToT and RnRC I took bitty DD to the Beauty and the Beast show. Then wile I rode with dd dh took bitty DD for an ice cream, eases the pain on the non riding child and parent!! There are alternatives in most cases, like TTA or Buzz while doing Space or Country Bears while doing splash and or BTMR.

Have fun - and check with that CM!
